Novare was engaged for the peer review of the design of the 67m diameter buried water reservoir located in Upper Prince of Wales Park in Mount Cook, Wellington. The reservoir is capable of storing up to 35,000m^3 of potable water and has been designed as importance level 4 with a design return period of 1/5000years for post-disaster use.

The peer review utilised a mixture of hand calculations, PCA table spreadsheet calculations and 3D finite element modelling due to the complexity and special requirements of this project.
