Novare Design are a leading firm of civil and structural professionals providing consulting engineering services. Novare Design was formed in December 2004 by Don Smith. Prior to forming the company, Don and was employed by Holmes Consulting Group in Wellington. Richard Keenan joined the practice in March 2005 having previously worked in London for Price and Myers LLP and in Wellington for Kingston Morrison. In July 2005, Richard became a principal of Novare Design.
Since the inception of the company, Novare Design has been involved with over 3000 civil and structural engineering projects in New Zealand and abroad.

We utilise our in house expertise on design and construction project work to provide effective project inputs that satisfy our client requirements across a range of building and infrastructure projects. We work with a wide range of clients, consultants and contractors across the country and internationally.
Novare Design has the tools and experience to conduct a range of seismic design and analysis projects. In addition to the complex structural modelling and analysis that we do, we also have the capabilities to conduct site-specific seismic hazard assessments and to select and scale ground motion records to fit site-specific response spectra.
